I have been on a fitness journey for a few years now. I have lost over 80 lbs and I have had many milestones along the way! This Turbulence Training challenge has truly been one of the biggest milestones so far!

I had knee surgery back in December and was very discouraged! I was so fearful that I would not recover properly. I was so worried that my knee would not be able to endure! I made it my quest to really push myself these 12 weeks. After physical therapy and recovery, I began to really challenge myself in the workouts...pushing myself to the limits. The strength and determination it took to bounce back from surgery during these intense workouts was truly mental at times! I had to encourage and push myself to fight through it! I am so happy to say that box jumps, burpees, tuck jumps, lunges and squats are so much more enjoyable now. Not being able to do them during my recovery was so tough! So when I begin to think about quitting during a workout, I remind myself of how lucky I am to be able to do it! This determination is thanks to this challenge!

During this journey, I had LOTS of temptations set in front of me. There were some days I didn't feel like going to the gym, but I knew I had set a goal and wasn't backing down! This challenge and the Turbulence Training mindset has blasted me to a whole new level. My mind is more focused and determined than it's ever been before. I set a goal to push myself beyond my limits. My endurance during the workouts has drastically increased! I've never been more proud of myself! I am already working towards my next goal. This TT challenge has helped me to have my head 100% in the game and has truly changed my life!
